Penn State Extension is offering Farm$en$e, a four-session, financial management professional development business course for agricultural producers, business owners, and farm managers interested in gaining a better understanding how financial statements drive business decisions.
The classes will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on February 4th, 11th, 25th and March 4th. The Farm$en$e course will give business learners an opportunity to study the business and financial aspects of farming, including cash inflows and outflows, ratio analysis and record keeping. Participants will create their own a custom set of business financials and learn how to use financial records to make informed decisions about operations, with activities, hands-on learning and Penn State agribusiness instructor assistance.
