As the Pandemic slows and restrictions are easing, people are looking for opportunities to travel, visit tourist sites, and engage in recreational activities.  The opportunities for tourism are expanding quickly.  This webinar will look at steps that local leaders are taking to restart tourism and the challenges that businesses still face due to COVID.  The topics to be covered include:

• Current status of travel and tourism activities
• Opportunities to outreach and market events/venues/sites
• New steps that businesses are taking to assure customers about COVID precautions
• Challenges facing tourism industry in restarting economic activities, such as workforce availability, availability of goods/products, increased supply costs.
