South Central Assembly Pandemic Response Series: First Meeting

Eviction Prevention Initiatives and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Opportunities

The South Central Assembly, with assistance from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, is sponsoring a series of virtual meetings to help community agencies and the region respond to urgent housing and community development needs.

The South Central Assembly will conduct a virtual meeting to discuss eviction prevention initiatives and the new ESG funding program. This will be an opportunity to learn what others are doing, collaborate, and coordinate activities, not a specific training on ESG or ESG-CV. The session is intended for local governments, housing provider agencies, human services, and support agencies. It will share an understanding of what’s happening and best practices in the region.

Attendees will be able to ask questions of the panel, and are encouraged to share their thoughts about how to:

• Address emergency housing, homelessness, and prevention needs
• Request help with program/service difficulties
• Share ideas on how to collaborate in meeting needs and solving problems

The session will be held from 10 – 11 am, time will be extended if needed for additional discussion.

Participation will be limited to the first 75 registrations.
