The small town of Enola, bordering the Susquehanna River on the
northern edge of the County, developed with the building of rail lines through the area. Enola is home to the quaint Kristy’s Whistle Stop and a historic one-room schoolhouse. Adams-Ricci Park is a popular destination as the sprawling 82-acre site offers a variety of outdoor activities and is home to the annual Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest.
