CAEDC Assists with Expansion of Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory

CUMBERLAND VALLEY, PA (March, 2015) – In March, Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC), in partnership with Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority (CCHRA), closed on a $100,000 loan to Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory.

The loan was to fund future expansion of the business that has been in Carlisle since 1907. Hoffman is currently in the construction phase of their new facility located at 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA.

“CAEDC and the CCHRA allow businesses like ours to expand and help sustain a strong local economy,” said Christopher H. Hoffman, Owner of Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory. “I thank CAEDC and CCHRA for their financial support in building Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory’s new facility. I feel fortunate to be part of a business community that supports growth with resources such as CAEDC and CCHRA. I am grateful for their trust and support, helping our organization evolve and prosper.”

This financing will create 3 new jobs and over $2.3 million in new capital investment.

“We are delighted to offer loan services to a business that has been part of our community for over 100 years,” said Jonathan Bowser, CAEDC CEO. “Financing options like the Cumberland Small Business Fund can make expansions and projects such as this possible.”
