Back to list January 15, 2014 CAEDC New Market Development Manager Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) would like to welcome Mary Kuna as the new CAEDC Market Development Manager. In this role, Mary will be focusing on financial analysis, economic impact and market assessments, site selection, and manage all aspects of public funding – local, state, and federal. She will also support clients, municipalities, and county officials in community planning and development and be the project manager for sites controlled or owned by CAEDC and the Cumberland County Industrial Development Authority (CCIDA). Kuna has former experience as the Economic Development Coordinator at Cecil County Office of Economic Development, in Elkton, MD, and a M.A. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware, a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Scranton, and a certification in Urban Planning from Harvard University. CAEDC’s mission to be a catalyst for leveraging and promoting Cumberland Valley’s economic development and tourism assets to drive growth, create jobs and improve the quality of life.
