Back to list July 23, 2018 CAEDC’s Shireen Farr Announced as Interim CEO CUMBERLAND VALLEY, PA (July 23, 2018) – CAEDC’s Board of Directors appointed Shireen Farr, CAEDC COO, as the Interim CEO for CAEDC and its subsidiaries as of 8/3/18. Farr has been with CAEDC since 2009 and came to the company with nearly 30 years of experience in information technology, operations, customer service, sales, marketing and finance leadership experience. CAEDC’s CEO, Jonathan Bowser, is resigning as of August 3, 2018 to pursue other interests. The Board will commence a search for a new CEO for CAEDC and its subsidiaries while considering a short-term transitional role for Bowser. Bowser has been with CAEDC since 2012 and led initiatives such as the Cumberland York Area Local Defense Group, the creation of the Real Estate Collaborative, LLC and the Cumberland Valley Alliance Program. “The Board of Directors wish Jonathan all the best in his new business ventures and appreciate all the leadership he’s offered to CAEDC over the years,” said Dave Swartz, CAEDC Board Chair. “Under the leadership of Shireen, we are confident that the talented and committed CAEDC team will continue to further CAEDC’s mission of advancing economic opportunities in Cumberland Valley,” added Swartz.
