HEALTH RESOURCES

COMING SOON: COVID-19 HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY RELIEF PROGRAM (CHIRP) - ACT 1 OF 2021

Cumberland County will be receiving nearly $2.9M from the State to support hospitality industry businesses (MUST BE: NAICS Codes 721 or 722). As a Certified Economic Development Organization (CEDO), the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation anticipates the Cumberland County Commissioners will authorize CAEDC to administer this grant program. Per the Act, the program is to begin by March 15, with a maximum of $50,000 in grant funds going to eligible applicants on a first-come-first serve basis, until funds have been exhausted.

Eligibility will depend on criteria related to ownership, revenue loss during the pandemic and other business related criteria. The guidelines are currently being developed and will be available prior to program launch on March 15th.

We appreciate your patience while we work through all the mechanics of launching a significant program in short order.

CLOSED: CUMBERLAND COUNTY SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF WORKING CAPITAL GRANT

This grant program closed on 2/19/21.
