Back to list May 27, 2015 May Found It Spotlight: Highmark Highmark in Enola, PA Highmark is not only a leading healthcare provider in Pennsylvania, but is also one of the largest employers in Cumberland County and is a strong community advocate. Highmark is a not-for-profit healthcare organization that serves over 5 million members with over 20,000 employees across several states. In addition to Highmark Health, other affiliates include United Concordia, Davis Vision, Visionworks of America, The Highmark Foundation, and the Highmark Direct stores. Highmark’s corporate responsibility believes passionately in community involvement. Recently, Highmark hosted the Walk for Healthy Community at Harrisburg Area Community College, which benefited nearly 50 health and human service organizations. Highmark holds these events throughout Pennsylvania and this year’s Harrisburg event had over 500 walkers. One of Highmark’s biggest community investments is the Caring Place, a support center for children who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
