Middlesex supervisors give tentative approval to 80-acre subdivision

The Middlesex Township supervisors gave preliminary plan approval Wednesday to an 80-acre subdivision along North Middlesex Road. Final approvals will be needed for each of six phases in the project, said township Zoning Officer Mark Carpenter this morning. Phase one is expected to begin on the west side of North Middlesex Road, he added. “There’s 15 acres on the west side and that would be six residential building lots, and there’s about 65 acres on the east side (with) 44 residential building lots,” Carpenter said. The plans are for all single-family detached dwellings, he said. The developer is listed as DKG Real Estate, LP. Advantage Engineering Services of Lemoyne is the engineering firm on the project. Engineer David Weihbrecht could not be reach for comment this morning. The township planning commission and the county planning department reviewed the plan without major concerns, Carpenter said.
