Back to list March 06, 2015 New Appointments to CAEDC Board of Directors CUMBERLAND VALLEY, PA (March 5, 2015) – On February 25, 2015, at the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corp. (CAEDC) Annual Board Meeting, two new appointments were made to the Board of Directors along with reappointments and approval of the slate of officers. The three members of CAEDC, consisting of Commissioners Barbara Cross, Gary Eichelberger and Jim Hertzler, held their annual meeting in concurrence with the CAEDC Board meeting to approve the appointment in officers and two new members, and to reappoint three members for a second three-year term to the Board of Directors. Commissioners Eichelberger and Hertzler were in attendance. Casey Sipe, Attorney with Scaringi & Scaringi and Patrick Campbell, Manager with PPG Industries were appointed to the board. Scaringi & Scaringi, P.C. is a local law firm with offices in Harrisburg, Newport and Carlisle that serves a variety of clients throughout the Harrisburg area with a wide range of practice areas. PPG Industries is a Fortune 200 company with operations in Carlisle. They are a global manufacturer of paints, coatings, optical products, specialty materials, glass and fiber glass. Doug Callenberger, Highmark Blue Shield, Bob Unger, Cumberland Design & Building and Jonathan Cox, Rhoads & Sinon, LLP were reappointed for their second term to end February 2018. The officers also appointed at the meeting include: Past-Chairman – Debbie Keyser, CenturyLink Chairman – Doug Callenberger, Highmark Blue Shield Vice-Chairman – Jonathan Cox, Rhoads & Sinon, LLP Secretary – Bob Unger, Cumberland Design and Building Company, Inc. Treasurer – Gayle Bolinger, Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz Commissioner Jim Hertzler thanked Debbie Keyser for her leadership as chair over the past three years at the Annual Meeting stating, “On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, I would like to thank Debbie for her service to CAEDC during a time of growth and transition. Under her leadership CAEDC has matured as an organization and is positioned well to play a vital role in the County’s growing needs.” Debbie Keyser then thanked the leadership team, board members and staff for their dedication and commitment to the organization.
