Vrai Restaurant & Bar Set to Open February 9th in Lemoyne

VRAI

CUMBERLAND VALLEY, PA (February 8, 2016) – A new restaurant is set to open Tuesday in Lemoyne. Vrai, located at 1015 Market Street Lemoyne, will welcome customers to experience their “true food” menu and celebrate Lemoyne’s first liquor license.

Vrai will feature a varied menu of salads, pastas, entrees and wood-fired pizzas that will be made from organic, local and fresh ingredients. The old-school, wood fired pizza oven is built into the wall behind the bar so customers can watch them stretch the dough and bake the pizzas ranging in flavors from margherita, mushroom, bbq chicken, asparagus and others. Like almost everything on the menu, the pasta will be made from scratch and includes options like ravioli and pappardelle. View the complete menu here – www.vrairestaurant.com.

In 2009, Lemoyne residents voted to reverse the town’s dry status and Vrai will be the first restaurant in the town to serve alcohol. Vrai will feature a wine list and specialty cocktails.

Vrai owner, Shelly Page, worked with the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) to receive funding for equipment. CAEDC invested $150,000 with the in-house Tourism Infrastructure Loan Fund along with financing available through the USDA, in addition to senior lending financing provided by Centric Bank.

“This is exactly the type of project we look to support. Vrai is not only a small business that will contribute to the economy and create jobs, they are also a perfect fit for helping us promote Cumberland Valley as a travel destination,” said Jonathan Bowser, CAEDC CEO. “Restaurants like this showcase the flavors of the Valley and give residents and visitors another unique dining option in the area.”

Owner Shelly Page shared, “We are very grateful to have access to the professional and financial resources offered by CAEDC. They were and are extremely supportive of our efforts to open a restaurant in Lemoyne. Cumberland County businesses like mine are fortunate to have the support and backing provided by CAEDC as they truly care about growing and building our communities.”

Starting February 9, 2016, Vrai will be open for regular business Tues, Wed, Thursday and Sunday, 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 4:30 pm to 10 pm.
