Back to projects Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory Total Investment: $2.3 million Funding Program: Cumberland Small Business Fund Program Used: Cumberland Small Business Fund Project Description: In October 2015, Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) closed on a $100,000 Cumberland Small Business Fund loan to Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory. The loan was to fund the expansion of a business that has been in Carlisle since 1907. Hoffman opened at their new facility at 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA on October 5, 2015. The new building is a much larger facility with modern conveniences, over 200 parking spaces, over 12,000 square feet of space and an onsite crematory with witness room.
