CAEDC Relocating to Hampden Township in September

CAEDC's new office building

Cumberland Valley, Pa – The Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) will be moving its offices from downtown Carlisle to 230 S. Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg in Hampden Township this September.

The move will consolidate CAEDC’s warehousing space along with its office space into a 4,700 +/- square foot flex building and will also allow for more parking as CAEDC’s team continues to grow.

“The relocation will better allow for workspace collaboration in our new hybrid in-office approach, as well as connect us closer to one of our thriving business communities in Hampden Township” said CAEDC Executive Director, Janet Anderson.

“I am pleased to welcome CAEDC and their staff into our building, and wish the organization continued success and good fortune as it serves the Cumberland County region” said building owner, Bob Schopfer of RLS Construction

CAEDC currently occupies office space in the lower level of the Carlisle Borough building on 53 W. South St., which has been its home for the last decade.

“We thank the Carlisle Borough for giving us residence in the Borough building over the last 10 years and their attentiveness to CAEDC’s needs,” said Anderson.

Campbell Commercial Real Estate, Inc. represented CAEDC in the search to relocate their current office to their new home in Hampden Township. Art Campbell, Jessica Gasper and Tesla Blood of the Campbell team combined their years of experience in the commercial real estate industry to fulfill the needs of CAEDC in support of the continuing growth of the organization.

An Open House is planned at the new office space for tourism and economic development partners in Q4 2023.

CAEDC is Cumberland County’s authorized agency charged with leveraging and promoting Cumberland Valley’s economic development and tourism assets to drive growth, create jobs and improve the quality of life with a unique organizational structure that integrates economic development and tourism promotion services to provide a paramount resource for businesses, non-profits, local municipalities, and residents. For more information, visit www.cumberlandbusiness.com and www.visitcumberlandvalley.com.
