Back to projects Desperate Times Brewery Program Used: Tourism Product Development Grant Based on customer feedback, Desperate Times Brewery sought to enhance the experience of their loyal customer base by providing a beer garden that would offer a large, comfortable outdoor seating area open from spring through fall. The beer garden would also increase seating capacity by almost 50%, allowing Desperate Times to accommodate additional car show attendees from the nearby Fairgrounds. CAEDC assisted Desperate Times Brewery with a $7,100 Tourism Product Development Grant to purchase a wooden fence, planters, pergolas, outdoor furniture, ceiling fans, and cover pea gravel for the flooring surface.
