The South Central Assembly, partnering with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, is sponsoring a series of virtual meetings to help community agencies and the region respond to urgent housing and community development needs.
The South Central Assembly will conduct a virtual meeting to discuss issues county and local agencies are encountering in organizing and implementing the Cares Act Rental Relief Program. This will be an opportunity to learn what others are doing, and to collaborate and coordinate activities. It will not be a rules and regulations recitation on the Cares Act Rental Relief Program, but rather a problem solving and information sharing effort. The session is intended for Housing & Redevelopment organizations, Social Service agencies, local governments, landlords and other individuals and organizations involved in providing housing assistance for those facing eviction due to the Pandemic. It will share an understanding of what’s happening and best practices in the region.
Attendees are encouraged to ask questions of the panel, and to share their thoughts on problems and solutions in implementing the Rental Relief Program.
