Boots to Health

Boots to Health

5023 E. Trindle Rd.

Mechanicsburg

Boots to Health is a local fitness studio catering to veterans and first responders that recently opened on East Trindle Road in Hampden Township. The business is the brainchild of Mechanicsburg native and Marine veteran Logan Spiewak, who envisions a facility that serves the physical health of its members and provides a place of community. Logan, who received his certification from the National Council on Strength and Fitness, is passionate about helping his clients improve their health and achieve their fitness goals. Rather than the impersonal service of a big-box gym, Boots to Health provides each member with a personalized program designed to keep them accountable, including one-on-one daily messaging and weekly accountability calls.

While the 1,500 square-foot studio is designed with free weights and other equipment needed for a workout, Logan wants Boots to Health to be much more than just a gym. He understands the mental health benefits of physical fitness and the feeling of community that he fosters and creates for his clients. While Boots to Health caters to veterans and first responders, Logan welcomes anyone from the public who is interested in improving their overall health. He also partners with the local recruiting office to train new enlistees for boot camp and mentor young men and women.

CAEDC is pleased to welcome another veteran-owned business that supports Cumberland Valley’s veteran population of almost 20,000 (U.S. Census Bureau, 2015-2019, 5-Year Estimate) as well as numerous military personnel serving locally at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, and the Defense Logistics Agency Susquehanna in New Cumberland.
