Back to list July 03, 2018 Public Engagement Process Kicks Off for Redevelopment Efforts at the Former Lemoyne Middle School CUMBERLAND VALLEY, PA (July 3, 2018) – RGS Associates, in partnership with REC LMS, LLC, is kicking off a public engagement process for the redevelopment efforts at the former Lemoyne Middle School, a three acre site located at 701 Market Street in the Borough of Lemoyne. The first step in this public engagement process is conducting a survey that allows the community to provide their comments, concerns and preferences about the project. These helpful responses will be used to inform the project team of stakeholder sentiment and shape the future of the Lemoyne Middle School Redevelopment efforts. The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/LemoyneMiddleSchool. A paper copy can also be filled out at the Lemoyne Borough Office (510 Herman Ave, Lemoyne, PA 17043). The survey is open through July 27, 2018. Findings will be shared at the second of two public meetings. RGS Associates, Inc. will conduct a public meeting on behalf of the project partners on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, 309 Herman Ave., Lemoyne. Representatives from RGS’ land planning team will present an overview of the site, engage in group discussions and gather public sentiment about the project. The public comments will assist the project team as they pause and reevaluate alternate uses and redevelopment options for the property. Feedback provided will help shape a new master plan for the property. A second public meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Cleve J. Fredericksen Library in the Ruggaber Community Room at 100 N 19th Street in Camp Hill. This meeting will include sharing the results of the public information gathering process as well as a conceptual master plan which sets forth a vision for the project.
